TNJ Masters Vichy 2026: All youth winners
The 2026 TNJ Masters in Vichy brought together France's strongest young padel players from 20 to 21 June. In the U12, U14 and U16 age groups, the best doubles competed for national titles and ranking points. After an intense competition weekend, the winners in every contested category were confirmed and underlined their status on the national youth scene.
Held as part of the Tournois Nationaux Jeunes, the event in the central French city of Vichy attracted youth talents from across the country. The Masters are regarded as one of the highlights of the junior season because the strongest pairings in each age group meet here. For many players, the tournament was therefore more than a single weekend: it served as a benchmark shortly before summer and ahead of the next major international appointment.
The tournament also marked the sporting conclusion of the Tournois Nationaux Jeunes season. On the courts in Vichy, different characters emerged: dominant favourites, spectacular comebacks and a final that went to a third set. For spectators and coaches, the event offered a comprehensive overview of current potential in French padel youth development.
U12 boys: Le Saux and Aschard dominate as top seeds
In the U12 boys category, top seeds Le Saux and Aschard progressed convincingly. In the final they faced Lamour and Martel and won clearly 6-1, 6-1. Throughout the tournament the pair looked structured and confident; in the decisive match they left little room for their opponents.
Le Saux and Aschard took control of rallies early, applied pressure at the net and used their experience at this level consistently. Lamour and Martel were unable to disrupt the favourites' rhythm in either set. The victory underlines the current form of the top seeds and makes them one of the defining constants in this age group.
In the earlier rounds too, Le Saux and Aschard progressed without major difficulties. Their blend of secure defence and efficient attacks at the net proved too much for the competition in this age group. Coaches and spectators saw mature padel that goes beyond pure technical level and already shows team tactical coordination.
U14 boys: Devriendt and Debroy turn the final around
The U14 boys final delivered the most dramatic scenario of the weekend. Devriendt and Debroy lost the first set 4-6 to Pottier and Bessière, but found their best level in the second and levelled at 6-4. In the decider they dominated 6-1 and took the title.
After falling behind, Devriendt and Debroy looked mentally stable and tactically sharper. They varied pace and length, forced errors in their opponents' service games and pulled away early in the third set. Pottier and Bessière had enjoyed a strong tournament run but had to accept the stronger response of the eventual champions in the final.
U14 girls: Le Jeune and Meyer with a controlled tournament
In the U14 girls draw, Le Jeune and Meyer confirmed their favourite status. In the final they beat Cassagne and Picon 6-1, 6-2. The scoreline reflected a tournament run in which the winning pair showed few weak phases and fulfilled their tasks convincingly round after round.
Le Jeune and Meyer worked in sync from the baseline and at the net, kept the pressure constant and gave Cassagne and Picon few opportunities to get into the match. The clear final victory rounds off a compelling performance and strengthens their position among the leading youth doubles in this category.
U16 boys: Cacheux and Caby win a thriller
The U16 boys final was one of the most balanced matches in Vichy. Cacheux and Caby faced Hemery and Mura and needed three sets to win 7-6(3), 2-6, 6-4. Both pairs played at a high level and exchanged the initiative several times.
A tie-break decided the first set in favour of Cacheux and Caby. Hemery and Mura responded strongly and won the second set clearly 6-2. In the closing phase the eventual champions kept their composure, broke their opponents at the crucial moment and managed their narrow lead until match point. The win shows the maturity of both finalist pairs, even if Cacheux and Caby proved the more consistent side in the end.
U16 girls: Charpentier and Debroy take the title
In the U16 girls category, Charpentier and Debroy beat Estrade and Nguyen Ba in the final 7-5, 6-3. The match remained competitive in both sets, but the title-winning pair found better answers in the key phases and steadily extended their lead.
Charpentier and Debroy combined defensive stability with targeted attacks and used break chances more efficiently than their opponents. Estrade and Nguyen Ba stayed in touch for a long time but could no longer build enough pressure in the closing stages. The triumph crowns a solid tournament run by the new champions.
